Proof that the Speed of Light is not Constant!

The scientific community is finally waking up to the fact that the speed of light is not always constant which was predicted by my Laws of Space and Observation because the speed of light is only constant when observed in the same state or set of conditions as those that the photons are actually traveling through.  The concept that is currently accepted by the “scientific community” is that the charged particles of atoms are absorbing and re-emitting photons with some magical time delay occurring in-between.    This concept is laughable on purely a logical basis for many reasons:

  1. Even it only a fraction of the photons were able to get through a medium unscathed, their speed should still be c.  But it is not.  Also there is no way that all of the photons could be absorbed and re-emitted.
  2. Even if the current theory was true, all of the photons could not be absorbed and re-emitted the same number of times while traveling through a medium.
  3. Even statistically the chances of a re-emitted photon being along the same vector path as the original photon is miniscule and can not be reconciled with the data of such studies.
  4. If the current theory were true then the index of refraction would be proportional to the density of the material the light was traversing.  It is not!  For instance, the ratio of the density of water at 10 degrees Celsius to that of water at 90 degrees Celsius is 1.0356 (0.99970/0.96535=1.0356) while the ratio of the index of refraction* for the same (at 404.41nm light) is 1.0101 (1.34389/1.33042=1.0101).  This gross discrepancy is found using any other comparisons (the 78th Edition Handbook of Chemistry and Physics was used as the reference source here).

I could go on, but the bizarre assumptions and theories that have been accepted by those who deem what is acceptable for the scientific community only serves to frustrate me.  Most physicists still believe that special relativity is valid despite overwhelming evidence that invalidates it as it is currently accepted.  Rather than giving myself a heart attack, I only hope that the reader will intelligently and skeptically look at that which is being taught as dogma by most in academia.

*The index of refraction is the velocity of light through medium divided by the speed of light in a vacuum (c).

What is Space?

In this issue of the Journal of Theoretics, Carlos Calvet presents a second paper on his Background Field Theory:  Detection and Origin of the "Background Field".  He along with others (including myself) have long  thought that this “field” may responsible for gravity.  While Calvet and others believe that there may be a production of some type of gravity waves or gravitons, I would rather prosit that this background field may actually be, what I have called, “Space.”  This Space would have a resistance to displacement by matter and gravity would be nothing but the result of Space  resisting displacement by matter (The Laws of Space and Observation:  An Unified Theory).

This background field goes by many names, such a “Space” (Siepmann), “zero point field” (ZPF), “Higg’s field,” “background energy,” “background field,” “quantum vacuum,” “dark matter (or a component thereof)?,” and more.  It is basically a pervasive energy that can not be accounted for by previous theory. The good news is that some of the new unified theories do include it and give a possible explanation for this energy, as well as gravity.

This is an exciting time for Theoretics* with the Journal of Theoretics offering a public forum for these groundbreaking articles as well as the networking of the authors and readers (i.e. giving the email or snail mail addresses are given for all authors).

*The new field of Science created by Dr. Siepmann and publicized through the Journal of Theoretics which utilizes logic and known credible data to develop new theories, which can then be tested for their validity.  Below is the mission statement of the Journal:

The Journal of Theoretics’ mission is to advance scientific inquiry and knowledge by publishing credible peer-reviewed articles in the field of Theoretics, free of charge and accessible to all.   The subject matter may be from any area of study, and may be quite narrow in focus or so broad as to encompass all areas of scientific endeavor.  The better the theory development, the better the science will be.  By stimulating theoretical research with the appropriate use of logic and language, experimental research will be improved and once again have direction.
